Brooding Nebula

Here is a fun fact: if you pour a bunch of different colored fluid paints through a colander on to a small canvas, you get a brooding nebula. Who knew nebulas were that easy to create? This early experiment satisfied my curiosity that you can get different visual effects with fluid paints using a variety of tools and techniques without knowing how to paint at all. The paint gives you what it gives you.  In this case, the result resembles a Marvel Universe backdrop for the Silver Surfer in search of a new planet to devour. Which means it will be a nice addition to kid rooms or that comic book-inspired man cave.
