Hope Springs is inspired by a line from Alexander Pope's poem 'Essay on Man'.  "Hope springs eternal in every human breast."

In simple terms, this work is about hope.  Not to define it in a dogmatic way or call its sources into question.  But instead to highlight our human need for hope and our reaching out for it no matter how unlikely our desired outcomes in life might be.  No matter how bad it gets, Hope Springs.
