All The Pictures In My Head - Blue Series (Painting 2)

This painting started as a charcoal sketch on canvas of a beautiful photograph of Telluride, Colorado.  I was not interested in going for photo-realistic accuracy in the sketch.  It was enough to simply capture the essence of the image and then make it my own.

Small town America is represented here by a farmer's market filling Main Street with life and vitality, framed by quaint historical buildings at the base of purple mountains skirted by tall pines and fur trees.  Golden yellow Aspen trees serve as the focal point.
