This is a companion painting to Icarus but the two frames are not the same depth.  

The celestial star and planet shapes are the product of combining fluid paints with various add mixtures that give the color combinations more depth and range.  The resulting gold and amber aurora suggests a celestial veil spanning within the night sky.
