Inspired by a weekend trip to Hamilton, Missouri, the quilting capital of the world!  I was impressed by all the different fabrics and patterns expressed in truly beautiful quilts hanging inside the quilting shops lining downtown Hamilton.  I was particularly inspired by the selection of remnants, or leftover pieces of fabric, that didn't make it into a quilt.  In the hands of a quilter, these leftover pieces can be reimagined and reconfigured into new creations that have their own unique beauty and charm.
