Transmedium

This is a simple color study using only a paint scrapper.  It depicts a horizon line where sky meets water.  Fading sunlight illuminates a brilliant tapestry of long, lazy clouds dissipating behind silhouetted hilltops.  Light is that mysterious substance that transitions from sky to water without any concern for how it appears to change from one state to the other.

If only we humans could be so understanding about how our appearance changes over time.
