Arguably my favorite painting I have created thus far, View of Things to Come is my first installment in the 'Monumental Series'.   It is loosely inspired by H.G. Wells' 1933 book "The Shape of Things to Come", and by another classic tale, "Little Red Riding Hood".  

The painting plays on scale and framing minimalistic elements like a diminutive red triangle (Little Red Riding Hood) almost lost in the much grander view of what can only be described as a cosmic event.  

This pairing leaves one wondering if Red Riding Hood is witnessing something wonderfully hopeful, or something horrifically devastating.  You the viewer decide.
